Ok here is a question...

Romance novels a forum of porn? Yes or no and why?

This is my take on it. I posted this on Vincent David Jericho's site to all the comments other poeple have made to him about it NOT being porn. Here goes.

Therefore, it is a forum of porn. Not all forms of porn is "in your face, dirty and raw and harmful" or "dirty mag with sex just staring you in the face." I just find it humorous how defensive some people get when you start poking at "something as innocent as a genre of fiction." What does this "innocent genre of fiction" do? Like someone stated earlier it's about desire, not porn. Don't get me wrong desire isn't bad if your talking about marriage between a man and a woman or having desire to achieve a goal. This desire is a more of coveting a person. I think the books do the same thing to the minds of women as "porn" does to guys. Sure texts is used to achieve this so what?! There is a old saying that i believe goes "A picture speaks 1000 words" so how many words does a romance novel speak?

Hey Hey!

This weekend was a blast! Favorite quote from this weekend "HELP SANDOR! HELP! Get her off of me!" Joe is screaming that as he's running around in the cabin with elisha chasing him down. LOL... oh, man, i had to go to the bathroom after that one. Good times! I tell you what, i wish this weekend would of lasted for a week. So much fun, i don't even know where to start. By fun i mean(pulled a katherine), it's not all the things we did but, just being with friends and enjoying each others company. Watched a TON of movies, ate A LOT of delicous food, yada yada yada, played x-box, had a great time with the guys at the beach. Us, guys, went out in the woods and walked around and just talked about life and random stuff.


There is something though about going out in the wilderness. Not quite sure but i really felt free, no restrants, or in-closed. It was great. Especially with the holiday's coming up i don't think of a better way to kick start things off.

Anywho back to the guys, Well we left the girls in the cabin and we headed down to the lake that was a bit empty but worked out great for us. We were just walking around the sand dunes and talking. Man, it really felt great. You really can't explain it in words. But this weekend, i tell you what, was super-fantastic! Thanks everyone for making this very possible and extremely enjoyable. The only thing that was unfortunate was that it ended too quickly. The good thing is that we left with a ton of memories and beautiful sunset for close out the weekend.

The course of life...

I tell you want, as I'm getting older I have more and more the desire to look for a house or a piece of property where I can build the house my heart yearns for. The thing is I want to build it but I want to build it with someone else by my side. It's funny how the course of life takes people eventualy down the path of a desirous feeling to become one with another person. To have that connection that lasts for a life time. The more and more time you spend, the more attraction becomes toward this phenomenal woman. Call me a romantic but seems like men have strayed away from wooing women anymore. Men have become "girly men." Anywho that's a different blog for a different time. I think even if i would build or buy the most gourious house, the house would still have a empty feeling to me. As if it was missing something, or should I say someone. The house wouldn't be complete without a woman. A woman of righteous, noble character. A woman that is passionate about God and myself. The course of life...intresting isn't it? The journey continues...

Honestly I really don't know what to write tonight. I'm having "writer block" as they say. I'm excited about tomorrow morning. We should have a great time at breakfast as we always do. Nothing like some good ol' fellowship to start out your day and to end for some. I remember the last time we had breakfast with coady, chad and I, I got laughing so hard that my eyes were tearing up and i couldn't breath. Oh man, good times though. I'm also excited just for the next two weeks. It should be so much fun. Thanksgiving around the corner and so is christmas. My two favorite times of the year. New years is cool to because it just runs along with christmas practically. Anywho im off to bed. I got a early day tomorrow.

Sweet!

My sister droped by today and told me she brought my NEW nephew if I wanted to see him. Well, duh, I want to see him! LOL. My sister is hilarious. I was FINALLY able to see him. I was sick there for a while so I was unable to see him, until today. He is so adorable! He's like a perfect little baby, no redness in the face, no baby acne, nothing. He's a lucky little fellow also. His mom (my sister) stayed in the hospital with him for a month on her sides, no getting up, no moving, nothing. Kinda sucked and thank God that wasn't me because i move around so much i would go nuts if i couldn't move. But everytime I talked to my sister she would say "it's worth it, so it isn't bad."

She would always have a smile on her face, too. I guess that's why im a guy...hehe. Thank God for great mothers. The lord knows what my mom went through with me and all the surgeries, I'm glad she did. I love life and I love living it. Way to go Sis! Your a great mother and I'm very proud of you.

Where does the time go?

Well as the wheels of life turn and time flies by, it makes you wonder how does time fly by SO fast? I remember the day when I baby sat my niece and changed her dipers and now she's growing up into a very beautiful young lady. She's 14 now and Friday she was sick at school, so my sister called me to pick her up. Poor thing has been waiting in the nurses office for 45 min. Of course, as an Uncle, i'm more then happy to pick her up. When i got to the school she was waiting for me outside and i gave her a hug and a kiss on her head, asked her if she was ok and she responded "I've been throwing up and one of the times was on the nurse." We both laughed, im sure though the nurse didn't find it funny. hehe. Anywho on the ride home we were chatting and she asked me if I had a girl friend already. In while I responded with a chuckle and said no. She then said something that really made my day but yet bummed me out at the same time. She said "Sandor, you can have any girl you want." I know that statement isn't true but I'm glad she thinks I'm a great catch (which i think i am, not trying to sound conceded). I know that at least she has an example on how a guy should be treating her when she starts dating. I'm glad I have made a impact on her life. How time flies, pretty soon i'll see her getting married. Time does fly.

The sperm whale is a toothed whale that lives in pods. It has a huge brain that weighs about 20 pounds (9 kg); it is the largest brain of any animal.
